Under the supervision and in the presence of the Dean of the College, the Department of Kurdish Language at the College of Basic Education in Amedi organized a workshop titled "Kurdish Folklore: Collection and Analysis." The workshop was conducted through a series of seminars, observations, and interactive sessions with students, led by three esteemed faculty members: Mr. Mardan Rifat Abu Zaid, Dr. Gehin Nizar Ibrahim, and Ms. Payman Musa Saadi. At the conclusion of the workshop, the Dean, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ni'matullah Hamid, presented awards and letters of appreciation to the three participating instructors. It is noteworthy that this department was established this academic year, and this workshop marks the beginning of its scientific activities. We wish the department's staff continued success and progress, hoping this initiative serves as a catalyst for further service to the field of folklore in the region.
